Wet painting
Wet painting
Wet painting is the application of a multi-layered wet painting system with which steel and galvanised steel can be protected in any desired colour. Wet painting is very suited for the anticorrosive protection of larger, composed or single steel parts.
Wet painting combined with hot-dip galvanising, the so-called
duplex system, offers the most sustainable protection in the fight against corrosion. Duplex offers perfect resistance to extreme weather conditions and results in a life span that is longer than the added duration of both systems separately.
Wet painting systems
Depending on the application you can choose from a number of wet painting systems based on alkyd resin, epoxy or, for instance, polyurethane paints. The application of the wet lacquer coating is done using the airless, hot airless or airless electrostatic spraying technique.
